Unpenned emotions

- Pranita Tiwari

Jul 10, 2019-

The light is bright

I can see a shadow

Visible, dark stud like pen

And a body that is a little low.

Bowing my head

I see the curtained emotion

The pen didn’t move visibly

But the shadow penned an unpenned emotion.

I can see the sadness

Sad itself and saddening onlooker

Pain was clear in obscure face

The stability, much crooker.

I pity on this sadist

What a dull life!

I look at my frail fist

“It too has suffered strife”

Pages below me flicker

And I can feel a stud

Pages with big stain of colour

I didn’t pen a single word.

A gust of air blows

“Oh, no! It’s me”

Heart races and sweat flows

I am crazy, I agree.
