Two girls threw themselves on railway track: Police

Police claimed that two Nepali girls, who were found dead on a railway track at Kanana Railway Dhala along the Raxaul-Sugauli railway section in India on Sunday, had killed themselves. Nibha Kumari of Bhedihari in Kalikamai Rural Municipality-2 and Kiran Chaurasiya of Kalikamai Rural Municipality-3 were crushed to death at Raxaul-Sugauli railway section, said police. After a suicide note was recovered from a room rented by the girls, police claimed that the duo had committed suicide by throwing themselves on the railway track. Police suspected that Chaurasiya had got engaged a few days ago. The girls were living in the rented room at Ranighat, Birgunj. Satyagraha Express Train that goes towards Ananda Vihar from Raxaul had crushed the girls. Citing the statement of a witness, Indian police also claimed that the girls had committed suicide. (PR)
